USING THE ACCURA DRA PHOTO-ELECTRIC EXPOSURE METER

  SETTING TIIE FITTI SPEED
Determine the ASA exposure index for the film being used by referring to the
instructions occomponying fhe film. Turn the smoller diol of the meter until the
desired ASA speed is shown in either window morked ASA.

                    TAKING REFTECTED TIGHT READINGS
                          Cpen the  f ront louvre by pressing ihe protruding pin
                                  of the louvre. Point lhe neter tcwcrds ll^.e subiect.
                               Rotcte the outer colculotor diol so thct the center
                                  of the BLACK reference mork is pcinting directly to
                                the needle reoding os you fcllcw  lhe contour of
                                lhe block ond silver bonds. The proper combinotions
                                  of shulter speeds ond f stcps will be seen on  fhe
                                block scoles on lhe  right hond side of the meter.
                             The f number shown opposite ony shutter speed will@                         be the proper setting for thol shutter speed.

                  TAKING INCIDENT TIGHT READINGS
                                Point the meter, with the louvre closed, ot the
                          5t           comero from the subject position. Ploce the center
                      c            of the BLACK ref erence mork to the needle
                              reoding, following the contour of the silver ond     "       "t,.";tt,st       .-i        J  -                 block bonds below lhe needle. The prope shutter
                           speeds ond f stop combinotions ore sh:wn on the
                                   right hond side of the meter.

USING TI{E BOOSTER
When the light is too weok for the needle to reoct,
plug the booster into the two holes on the bock of
the meter. Use the RED reference mork rother thon
the block, ond then proceed os outlined previously'
For incident or reflected reodings, ottoching the

incident reodings.


 MOVIE CATiERA SETTINGS
Follow the generol procedure ond then the proper
f siop will be seen on the left hond side of  the
meter in the red figures. Simple movie comeros with
                                              ondnon-odiustoble shutters cperote ot l6   f ' p. s'
therefore you need reod only the f stop shown
oppcslte l6 in the red movie scole. The oppropriote
 f stops for other fromes per second setlings ore
shown opposile these settings.
