batteries. Make sure polarities are properly
aligned as shown.

*CAUTION
1 ) lt is important that the batteries are inserted
with correct polarities (+;-1. Otherwise, the
flash unit will not work and the batteries
may leak, causing damage.
2l Batteries will last longer if removed when

ATTACHMENT TO CAMERA (FIG. 6I
The flash unit has a "Hot Shoe" Base and can be
attached directly to a camera having a flash
accessory "Hot Shoe" contact, which will hold
the flash unit and provide the electrical connection
between camera and flash when the locking nut is
tightened.
* CAUTION
When mounting the flash unit on or detaching
from the Camera always make sure the power is
OFF or the Camera may be damaged.

FLASH OPERATION READY TEST (FIG. 9}
1) Turn the power switch "ON".
2l After aprox 5 to 1 O seconds the
"READY/TEST" light should light up,
confirming your flash unit is charged in
readiness for flash photography.
The Ready/Test button, when depressed will
fire the flash gun confirming that it is
READY operational.
TEST 3) When flash is no longer required always turn
power switch "OFF".

A 28mm lens can be used when the diffuser is
mounted. Always set the lens/distance selector (91 TABl
to "W" when using the diffuser. lt is not possible
to use a 28mm lens at other settings.

1. Insert Tab 1 of the Diffuser gently into the
face of the flash head.
2. Push diffuser in as illustrated until Tab 2
clicks into position.
Detaching from the Flash Unit:
