     To Open Camera:
           First, remove lower drrome cover      lift ring and turn triangular indicator in direction                                          -        of arrow pointing toward letter "A". Thus cover is unlodced and can be removed.
        (Note    the lower drrome cover has a very snug fit to insure against light leakage.               -       Next, open bad< door- push knurled knob in direction of, and so that it covers
        the letter "Zl t:X  js-:rory viCrlg,-Badc *our-wllt op€n -
     To load Camera:
         The  EDINEX is designed to take all standard 3 5 mm films in blad<-and-white
        or in color.
       Turn Rewind Release (11) counter clodcwise as lar as it will go. ("R" on release (11)
         should be opposite red dot.) Film'Transport Sprocket (13) will now move in either
         direction. Turn Film Advance Knob (r) until slot in Take-up Spool (tz) is visible.
         Place film catridge into empty dramber; tongue of film should be seen through bad<-
         door. Replace lower drrome cover    turn bla& triangular indicator in direction of                                           -        arrow pointing toward letter "2"; press ring to flat position.

Advance Knob (t)           Push film tongue info slot of Take-up Spool ( -, and turn Film
            in direction of arrow so that film is perfectly flat and perforations properly engage
            Sprocket ( I 3). Replace ba&door    push round knurled knob in direction of , and so                                              -            that it covers the letter " A" ('Z'  is now visible).
          Turn Rewind Release (tt) clod<wise as far as it will go. ("V" on release (11) should
          be opposite red dot.)
       To -Advance Film:
       To eliminate that portion of the film exposed to light while loading camera and to
            bring fresh film into position.
             A) To advance one frame of film; turn Knob (3), as far as it will go, in
             direction of ?rrow; and turn Film Advance Knob (1) in directiron of arrow
                B) Advance film again, turn knob for setting exposure Counter (z) counter
            clod<wise until indicator is on Zero (o)    you are now ready to take your first
               picture.
          Picture Taking:
           For picture taking,  Adjust Diaphragm Setting Lever (+) ; Shutter Speed Setting
           Ring (i) ; and Disrance Serting Knob (e).
          Hold camera steady, close to eye, and press Shutter Release (9).
          For each new cartridge, only one setting, to zero (o), of the exposure counter is
             necessary as the exposure counter works automatically when the next frame is brought
             into position.

           Rangefinder:
       On the EDINEX I  an- quxiJiary rangefinder carl be used for whidr a slroe base is
            provided on top of the camera.
       To Remove Fihn:
Spool        After all exposures are made, rewind film into the original cartridge  . . . turn Rewind
            Release (r r), as far as it will go, counter clockwise ('R" on release should be oppo-
nsport         site red dot). Turn Film Rewind Knob (to) in direction of arrow (you will observe
            Film Advance Knob (1) moving in opposite direction of arrow.) When film has been
          rewound to original cartridge, (Film Advance Knob (1) will no longer rnove, remove
           Iower cover and take out exposed film.


          Synchronization   :
         Your camera is internally synchron ized. The  camera's synchronization socker, whidl
            takes the plug of the flashgum, is in the base of the shutter. Make certain your flash-
          gun has the proper female plug which fits the  syncl-rronization system of your camera"
