roll COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, Thread 2 to 3 inches of film through slot in loader.

the Light Trap (1) counter-clockwise as far as it will go.

Now, holding Knob (6) in with one hand, wind with the other hand as many expo-
sures as you need PLUS three exposures, You may use the Frame Dial or listen and
count the clicks. In other words, if you wish to wind 36 exposures, turn the Winding
Crank until the Knob registers 39 (36 + 3).

For 18 exposures go to 21 (18 + 3), etc.

Close Light Trap (1) by rotating clockwise to stop. Move Interlock (2) away from
Access Door (3). Remove door. Cut film. Remove cassette.

The reading on Feet Dial is feet used on this cassette.

Make record of film used each time to determine film left in storage.

Repeat daylight instructions for loading each cassette. Loading standard and special
(Leica and Contax) spools is similar in all cases except that the Leica and Contax
Cassettes must be closed mechanically when you have finished loading them.

Turn Knob (6) counter-clockwise to close cassette. Three holes are provided in this
Knob to accommodate the locking pin of this type cassette.
