color film 120 or 36-exposure roll). use doylight film for
outdoor pictures, tungsten or color film for indoor pictures.
O To open comero, turn lock lever (2.|) from "L" to "O",' slide comero bock obout + inch downwords ond lift

O Insert looded film corrridge into film cortridge well fi z).
O Insert film end into slot in film spool (20).
O Advonce lever (l ) ond press releose (3). Moke sure
film perforotions engoge sprocket both top ond bottom.
Advonce film ond press releose 2 or 3 times, or until

O Set film index reminder (8) by turning inside diol until the ASA
number of fi!m being used is opposite red morker on outside ring
(block numbers ore for doylight ASA, red for color, ond inside
numbers ore DIN numbers).
O Determine lens opening ond shutter speed from informotion sheet
supplied with your film, or from seporote exposure meter.
O Rotote diophrogm ring (9) until orrow is opposite correct lens
opening on diophrogm reoding il 0).
o Rotote shutter speed ring (l5l until orrow is opposite correct shutter
speed on shutter speed reoding (l l).
o Judge the distonce from comero to subiect, rotote focusing ring
(.|4) until correqt distonce is indicoted on distonce scole (13].

After on entire roll of film 120 or 36) hos been
exposed, film wind lever will not turn further. Do
not force it beyond this point.
O To rewind film into originol cortridge from toke-
up spool, press rewind button (2) ond pull out
rewind knob (7).
O Turn rewind knob clockwise until the film is
completely rewound into the cortridge.
O Open comero bock ond remove the cortridge

Here is on exomple how it works. You use o flosh
bulb with Guide Number of 80 ond hold your ATLAS 35
ten feet from subiect. Then, follow the formulo given
bellow:
