Move the button (b in Fig. 1) below the carryi.g
handle sideways and open the hinged back. Pull
out the film winding k,jy knob. Thl spool-carriers
may then be moved lrom the take-up c-hambers.
In the lower {ilm chamber is an empty reel. Insert
this reel into the upper spool carrier "p" and the
film cartridge into the lower spool carrrer "t".
Remove the band that holds the red paper, pull
the latter across the two rollers, and thread the
end of it into the reel slot. Move the film winding
key twice or thrice to and fro, thereby binding the
paper to the reel. Then close the camera back.
The film is wound up in the same manner as a

For the first exposure, turn the film winding key by short turns, to and fro, until the number "1"
of the film band appears in the lower window. The first four exposures are transported into position
by observation o{ the film windows, as follows:
1 st Exposure i No. 1 in lower window 2nd Exposure: No. 1 in upper window
3 rd Exposure : No. 2 in lower window 4 th Exposure: No. 2 in upper window.
Eadt successive exposure, after the fourth, may be placed by turning the film winding key counter-
clockwise, until it reaches an automatic stop, and thereupon immediately forward again, clockwise,
until stopped. The number of^the exposure can occasionaliy be observ-ed as it passes .automaticallythe lrlm wlndows.
The space between the single exposures after the {ourth ilcreases toward the end o{ the film.
However, the 8 Exposure Vest Pocket film will take, iully, 15 exposures, and leaves a uselul margin
for processing at the beginning and at the end o{ the {ilm.
