r r r and absolutely dependable too
It is no longer necessary t9 d.o time
consuming exposure calculations
whenever different lenses, filters or
extension tubes are to be used.
Your future picture is previewed at the finder of your Edixa and
it will be yours as computed by your meter.
It is quite obvious that metering through the lens must be more
accurate than any other meter system, just as focusing on the
ground-glassthroughyour reflexfinder is superiorto any other way.View original page 4Page 5 · Read text
The C.dS meter for light metering is effective
within the range of film speeds from 6-1600
ASA (9-33 DIN). Shutter speeds range for
metering from 1/1000 to 8 sec.
A Mono cell of 1.35 V (Mallory PX 13), known
for its characteristics of constant power out-
put and sudden drop-off at the end of it's
long life, is used to power the meter. The
meter is switched on only during the metering
time and as long as the lever is activated.

$ir.-ir Extension Tubes may be inserted between camera andHru lens for close-range work. A set consists of four tubes,Tj- no. 1-4, and many combinations are possible, more
additional tubes may be added for even more magnifi-
cation.
Extension Tubes (ZWAKA) with built-in diaphragm re-
lease mechanism, consisting of three components in
different sizes, allow close-ups down to a distance of
B inches. The internal release makes the use of a
dou ble-cable release unnecessary.
The Edixa Bellows Extension is a very much appreciated
tool for close-up photography, since it allows continous
operation in the focusing of varying distances. An
additional Double Track may be attached to the unit to
facilitate fast distance changes from lens to object at a
given magnification ratio.
Photomicrography with the EDIXA is simple. With the
aid of the microscope adapter, the Edixa camera body
is joined to the eyepiece of the microscope. A hinge
permits the camera to be swung to one the side, so
that the image on the ground glass can be focused
without having to remove the camera from the micro-
scope; it is also possible to exchange the eyepiece
quickly.
By employing extension tubes or the Bellows Extension
copying work of every kind can be undertaken.
