With the Paxette electromatic IA, everybody can take excellent,
well-exposed pictures, regardless what he will know about photo-
graphy. He can ehoot with a normal lens or a tele-photo lene. All
he has to do is to raise the camera to the eye, eatch the ecene
through the bright-line viewfinder, set the estimated distance. and
if the eignal ie green, push the ehutter release. There is no setting
of diaphragm and shutter speed necessary. The correct exposure
is taken over fully automatically by the electric light-meter.

After you have carefully read these inetructions, you will certainly
agree that it is really child'e play to operate the Paxette electro-
matic IA.

Green light means ,rG0"
The fully automatic control is only in operation after you have
actuated the rapid wind lever (17).
Raise the camera to your eyes, frame the scene and you will see
a green signal in the middle of the upper bright'line frame (see
picture).
If you will not notiee this green signal, light conditions are too
poor to get a correctly exposed picture. In this case you better
use your flashgun or forget about taking it.
The larger bright-line frame gives you the picture size for the
normal lens, the smaller frame gives the eize for the 75 mm tele-
lens. Ae parallax compensation for picturee taken at 3,3 ft. (I m)
or with close-up lensee the viewfinder is fitted with 2 horizontal
markings (M) defining the picture frame.
