Introduction

‘The Canon EOS 700 features high-speed au-
tofocus performance and sophisticated ex-
Posure control through the use of new
advanced technologies. Incorporating much
of the highly acclaimed technology in previ-
ous EOS models, this addition to the EOS ser-
ies is aimed at the photographer who wants
simple but flexible operation.

It features “Evaluative Metering,” “Depth-of-
Field’ mode, and eight ‘Programmed Image
Control" settings to make picture taking un-
complicated and provide results that are the
envy of others. A revolutionary new reversi-
‘le selector dial allows you to choose from 13
settings to best match your shooting style. The
EOS 700 also has a builtin flash that fires au-
tomatically without separate batteries. To top
it off, the EF 35-80 mm power zoom lens has
been specially developed for use with the EOS.
