SWITCH-OFF
When you don't intend to use your camera
(with Auto Winder attached) for some
time, either lock the shutter releasebutton
or switch OFF the main switch on the
Auto Winder,to prevent accidentalshutter
releases. The TOPCONRE Super does not
have a shutter releaselock and,therefere,
the main switch is the only means of
preventingaccidentalshutter releases.
When the camera is not being used for
f airly long periods, detach the Auto Winder
(by unscrewing the attachment screw),
releasethe shutter (so that it is not ten-
sioned all the time) and switch OFF the
exposure meter. For storage, take out
all the batteriesand store them separately.
(Battery power will drain off even when
they are not used and, therefore, new
batteries may be required if the storage
period is long.)
