Raise attaching lever to highest point
and lift out looper, using care not to bend
the point of the looper when removing it
from the carrier.

~ Remove the shuttle from the carrier of ©
the machine. Turn machine until sht‘tle
carrier is at front of shuttle race. Take the
looper attaching-lever (L) between the
thumb and forefinger of the right hand,
being careful to have the lever raised. in
vertical position at right angles with the
looper. Put the looper in carrier with the
int hook toward you as shown in Fig. D.
