so that photographs can be taken all
the. year round. A special Ful_Vue
flash unit is now available and ttris
has .been specially designed to clipon the back of the camera.
The lens in the Ful-Vue camera
has an aperture of f/l I and mav be
focussed to give a sharp picture at
any dlstance. The scale on the lens
mount is calibrated in yards. After
estimating the distance of the subject
rrom the camera rotate the lens mount
to bring the engraved index mark
opposite the required distance. For
example, - 2_ yards, 3-5 yards, or 6yards to infinity (Fig. l),-but iemem-
ber that the distance must be esti-
mated in yards and not in feet as on

Holding the camera in the left hand, pull out the opposite side of
the camera comprising the winding
knob, cone and spool chambers.
(Fig. a).
Before inserting a new spool of
Ensign 120 film, make sure that an
empty take up spool is in position at
the winding end of the cone. If the

moving the camera or blurred pic-
tures will result. Never hold the
camera in the hands, but place it on
a firm support and hold the camera
firmly to avoid moving it while the
shutter is open.
To unlock the camera in order to
insert a roll film, turn the knob on
the right of the camera (Fig. 3) to the
position marked " LJnlock ", this will
disengage the spool cone attached to

the ruby- window on the back of the camera by turning the button until
the shield is clear of the aperture.
Watching the ruby window, turn the
winding knob (Fig. 7) until a warn-
ing hand and then the figure I appear.
After moving the safety cover shield
back over the ruby window, the
camera will then be ready for use.

After each picture has been taken,
open the ruby window shield on the
back of the camera, turn the winding
knob until the next number appears
in the window and replace the safety
cover after each winding operation.

When all twelve exposures. have
been made, open the ruby-window
shield and ttrin the winding knob
until the end of the backing paper on'
the film has passed the window.
Unlock the camera as previouslY
described, remove the cone (Fig. 8)
and then holding the exposed spool
of film to prevent it from unrolling, '
