Select gear wheel directly in line with front edge
of lens support on scale S on camera bed. This
scale is marked 7" focus, indicating the 7-inch

subject. The figures on the other side indicate
the number of teeth in the gear wheels required
for the 7-inch lens when focused on obiects at these
distances. The front, or lowest number, is used at
a tlistance of 15 feet, the middle number for objects
25 feet a\\ray from the camera, antl the rear, or
highest number, for negatives including objects
100 feet or more distant from the camera. If line

To Determine The scale encircling the tripod
Amount of Film top in<licates amount of film
Required required in inches for different
number of degrees that the
view u,'ill embrace. To determine amount of film
requiretl for an exposure point lens to the extreme
left of the subject to be photographed. Move tab
IJ, Cut 5 around until it cornes directly under
eenter'of back of camera, as indicated by black
line T on revolving metal platform. The eamera
shoul<l then be pointed to extreme right of subject,
permitting slicling scale to remain in position. The
small black line will then in<licate the number of
degrees the picture will include, also the length of
filrn in inches with either 7, 10 or l5-inch lens.
To determine amount of film rtsed, refer to
inrlicator on top of camera and atl<l to the rtumber
allpearing in the small openirrg, the number
inrlicated by u'hite line on milletl head C. This
will give the exact amottnt of film rrserl for any
