NORITA AUTO EXTENSION TUBES consisting of three (3) tubes of assorted length
which fit, individually or in combination, between NORITA 66 SLR Camera body and
NORITAR Lens, provide seven (7\ different extensions to suit a multitude of
req u ire ment.
These tubes are marked No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3
r-1. Specifications:
1) Camera to be used: NORITA 66 SLR I
2) Lens to be used: ftsl ?T;J ]:J'J#.J;',1;T;T;::Jffi]
SOmm f2, 160mm f4 and 24Omm f4)
3) Extension of each tube: No. 1 1 7mm

2) When attaching the Tube onto the camera, the diaphragm linkage pin in the tube
should be carefully positioned to the left of the diaphragm lever in the camera.
Line up the Orange-yellow dot of the Tube with the Orange-yellow triangle (A)
on the camera body, and turn the Locking ring of the Tube carefully until it
f its sn ugly.

3) To attach the lens to the Tube, the diaphragm pin of the Lens should be set
into the U-cut linkage of the f irst Tube attached onto the ca mera. Turn the
Locking ring of the Lens clockwise until it fits snugly.

3. Magnif icat ion ratio:
The magnification ratio can be determined by the following procedure:
Place a metric scale at the position of the subject to be photographed.
Divide 56mm (2 114": this is the width of the negative film) by the reading
the image of the scale extending across the entire width of the field.

For example, if the width of the field on the ground glass includes 28Omm (11 ")
on the scale, the magnification ratio will be:
O.2 b/a: 56mm / 28Omm (2 114" ,/ 11 ") -- 115 :
The attached Tables show the magnification ratios of various extensions with each
the lens. Also the accompanied graph will be usef ul for quick determination of
magnif ication ratio.

4. Exposure factor:
The exposure in close-up photography should be increased by the exposure factor
(K) depending upon the magnification ratio (M) given by the following formula:
