ues the Hasselbladtradition of well-known ond appreciatedfea-
turesthat havecorriedthe Hasselbladname beyondthe endsof
the earth ond into space:reliabilityand absolutefidelity.
Severolmuch sought-afterfeatureswereincorporatedin this fur-
ther development of the Hasselblad S11-seriescomeros.
Motorization is an avoilable option simply by the addition of the
HasselbladWinderCW.Thelargemirror of the GMS(GlidingMinor
System) provides o full viewfinder imoge with virtually oll
HasselbladCF lenses.Further enhancement of the image is
'Acute-Matte achievedby the new improved D" focusingscreenfor
more evenillumination as well as easierand more occurotefocus-
ing.Originallyfeaturing the 6 x 6 cm (21/t x 2rh in) formot the
503CWalso acceptsformat masksfor 6 x 4.5 cm and 6 x 3 cm
(ponoromic)formatsto broadenoptions.
With o Hosselblad503CWyou have opened the door to the
HasselbladSystemwith its compatibility secondto none in the
mediumformat.lt feoturesinterchangeabilityof | 9 differentlenses,
1.4x and 2x teleconverters,magozinesfor differentimage formats
and filmtypesincludingPolaroidfilms,viewfinderswith or without
