QUrCK-FOCUSTNG HANDLES 1 AND 2 Quick-focusing handle I fits the Distagon 50, Planar 80, Planar 100, Uv-Sonnar 105 lenses, as well as the Biogon 38 lens on the SWC camera. Quick-focusing handle 2 fits the S-Planu 120, Sonnar 150 and Sonnar 250 lenses. Be careful not do damagle the synchronizer contact for flash cnd the stopping-dowrt control catch when attaching or re- moving the foutsing handle. Set the lens at infinity and press the handle ring A) cnto the lens focusing ring so that the handle bar (C) points at the infinity symbol 1oo). Secure the focusing handle in this position by tightening the knurled screw (B). If a cable r elease or a cable to the synchronizer contact on the lens for flash is used, move the focusing handle to a position where it cannot damage these cables. The small clip-on riders (D) can be shifted around the handle ring, and they can be used in conjunction with the different-colored rubber markers as position indicators for quick setting of preselected distances. They can also be used for marking the depth-of-field limits at a given aper- ture. For example, if the Planar B0 is used at f. 11 then one of the riders can be used to indicate, say, 1.7-2.5 meters, the second 2.5-5 meters, and the third 5 metersView original page 3
