Setting the Film Speed (Sensitivity).
Set the ASA or DIN speed of the film at the ASA speed indicator (12) or the DIN speed indicator (14) by rotating tfie
F-Stop Dial (15) using the F-Stop dial knob (21). Wnen doing this make sure that the Hightow Lever does not move and is

the F-Stop scale (20).
5. Exposure Value Numbers (E.V.) are shom in the E.V. window (18), lf the camera in use has an E.V. scale these numbers

The 'lmperial" Cadmium Sulphide Viewf inder Exposure Meter is a precision instrument with an extremely high sensitivity and repuircs careful handling despite the fact that it has a iewelled movement and that shock resistancb has been increased by careful asse- mbly of the movin! parts. Falls and knocks should at all times be avoided. The leather case helps to protecf the. meter and use of the neckstrap helps to prevent accidental dropping of the meter. Colour Photography Carefully follow the instruction which comc with every colour film. LiSht and dark colorrs and the various shades of daylight arc a large factor in determining the exposure speed in colour photography more so than in black and white. When using a new t),pe of colour film make test exposures so that you know the latitude and, colour bias of the film. Landscape Photography When a large area is to be covered in the photograph it is better to take two readings of the area to be covered since the acce- ptance angle of this meter is much narrower than normal. The correct exposure is taken as the average between the two.View original page 4
