C The Prontor SVS shutter mokes it possible to use flosh bulbs ot short shutter speeds from 1/50th to 1/500th os well. This full synchronisotion
corresponds to o position of the lever ot the yellow spot "M". When
using Electronic flosh lomps or the "X" type of bulbs, this lever shouid
be put ogoinst X (red spot) ond the shutter speed should be set ot 1/25th.
When toking flosh light pictures (not opplicoble to "M" type) with
deloyed oction, the shutter speed is set ot 1l25lh ond the lever on V
(green spot). With this SVS shutter, it is not necessory onymore, to cock
the deloyed oction mechonism, os this is chorged outomoticolly together
with the other mechonism of the shutter, whenever this is cocked. lt is
olso possible, ofter cocking the shutter, to chonge the chosen shutter
speed ond to switch over the lever from V to X or M. The shutter will
olwoys corry out the wonted oction irrelevont whether the setting wos
done before or ofter cocking. For deloyed oction pictures it is only
necessory to put the lever on V (green point) ond on the required
shuttter speed.
The Azore-V is firted with o builr-in oPT|CAL EXPOSURE METER, which
gives o very good indicotion os to the correct exposure for block ond
white film. However, when using colour film, it is odvisoble to use on
efectricol exposure meter, for owing to the very limited exposure loti-
tude, oll subjective errors should be excluded.
When using the exposure meter, the lost well defined figure is notecl.
This is the light speed foctor, shown in the horizontol column in the
following toble, ogoinst which in the line corresponding to the chosen
diophrogm, the correct exoosure con be found. ln cose of doubt pleose
olwoys choose the lower figure. When meosuring it is odvisoble to
protect the exposure meter with your hond ogoinst the sky-light.View original page 8Page 10 · Read text
