       INSTRUCTICNS FOR USE
         Before you lood your first film, pleose moke yourserf fomirior
         with the different ports of the comero. The R E G U L A-Cito
       domero is fitted with o high quolity, bronded Objective
         which will permit pictures to be token even in poor lighting
         conditions. The Shutter, olso, is o well-known bronded
                                                                                                                                                          I          shutter of highest precision.
         Attention! only when the comero is looded the perfect
        working of it con be controlled.

 1. Remove the comero from its ever-reody cose. The bock con now be
  opened by pressing the cotch (15).
 2.  Pull out the Rewinding Knob (11).
5.  Choosing o shody spot, or ot leost in the shodow of your own body,
    insert the end of the film, into the toke-up spool ond bend  it outwords
   obout erlq" from the end. The film is thereby given o firm onchoroge.
4.  Ploce the looded cossette in the left-hond spool chomber. Push in
   the Rewinding Knoblond reploce the bock.
5.  Quick lever Wind (2).'With the right thumb pull lever round to the
   stop ond press shutter, releose to fire the shutter. Eoch time the film
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     '    is moved on, the shutter is outomoticolly cocked. lt is therefore only
   necessory to wind on the film, when the shutter con be releosed'
   eoch time, thus permitting o considerobly quicker series exposures.
   Pleose note thot the woy of the lever becomes shorter the more
   exposures ore mode. Therefore, do not ottempt to pull the lever
   post the stop or to get more thon 55 pictures. This might leod to
   teoring of the film ond couse jomming.
   After further twice winding on the film ond exposing, set the film
   counter (5) to I by turning it onticlockwise, ond the comero is reody
   for the first picture.
TAKING THE PICTURE
1. Set the focusing ring (5) to the correct distonce.

2. Choose exposure (Z) ond diophrogm (14) settings.

 5. .Do..1ot forget to wind on the film ofter eoch exposure. The REGULA     is fitted with. on interlocking mechonism wfriifr prevents JouUle
    exPosures. At the same tirne the film connot be wound on until on    exposure hos been mode.
The Viewfinder/Rongef inder                                               -(9) enobles o quick ond precise meosurementof the distonce. In the viewfinder picture there is suferimpor.Jo rmoller
 rectongulor bringftened up.picture (in yellowish c6lourllrfre ouriines in
the center of this brightened up spot, hove to be mode to coincide withthe picture in the viewfinder. RE-WINDING THE FILM
The REWIND RELEASE BUTTON (8) on the bose of the comero is used forrewinding. rhe film into the cossette ofter oll exposures hove been

FLASH SYNCHRONISATION
The Prontor SVS shutter mokes it possible to use flosh bulbs ot short
rfrrtt.r-speeAs from 1/50th to 1/500th os well. This full synchronisotion
correspohds to o position of th6 lever (15) ot the yellow:pot "M". When
using Elecrronic flbsh lomps or .th.. "I" type of bulbs, this lever shouldO. p'ri ogoinrt X (red spoil ond the shuttbi speed should be set ot 1/25th.

         when set to the film speed of the looded firm, is o reminder.'
                   CT - Denotes colour film for doylight
                   CK - Denotes colour film for ortificiol light

           The figures on the film speed  reminder ore sensitivity exposured for
           DIN ond ASA. The dots between the figures ore intended for intermedi-            ote volues of film speeds.

       CAR E
         The REGULA should be looked ofter corefully. Do not touch the lens,  if
            possible, with your fingers- should this nev6rtheless hoppen, the lens           should be cleoned immediotely with o piece of cleon, bften-woshed
             linen. Cleonliness of the interior of the iomero is the 6est protection
           ogoinst scroched negotives. For this o soft hoir brush is involi;oble.
           Before inserting o fresh film, both interior of the comero ond the lens           should be cleoned corefully. lf the comero is not to be used for o           longer period, it is odvisoblb to releose the shutter.
