0ulstonding feotures of the meter: I - By virtue of high sensitive property of CdS, the meter hos o remorkoble performonce in meosurement of light covering wide ronge. Its meqsuring copocity is 128 times lorger thqn thot of conventionol exposure meters. It mokes possible to meosure very foint light. Being provided with o built-in bottery tester, errors in meosurement due to voltoge drop of the bottery will not occur. The CdS cell put inside of the body is tightly seoled up in o speciolly processed gloss tube for prevention ogoinst deteriorotion of its performqnce over o long time. The meon ongle of field of vision of the light occeptonce window is designed 30" wide which minimizes errors in meqsurement. Being provided with scoles for reoding Frome/sec. for cinecomeros, film sensitivity (,AS,A & DIN), ond light volue, it enobles everybody meosure precisely the time for optimum exposure. The meter meosures both incident light ond reflected light. Incident light meosurement is used to detdrmine the exposure time by meosuring light on the subiect, ond reflected light meosurement is for light reflected from the subiect to the comero. The follow-needle system of the meter mokes the precision meosurement of lighf very eosy by simple operotion.View original page 4

When there exists pronounced controsr between bright light ond dork
shodow on the subiect, toke two reodings, one for bright port ond the
other for shodow port. The meon volue of these two reodings will
give optimum exposure time.
Coution hos to be token in shooting with color film the subiects of
strong controst which is over I :4. As the lotitude of color film is
within the ronge of I :4, it is difiicult to obtoin good result whsn the
controst of light on the subiect is beyond I :4 rotio.
