1. LOADING

ment Case Lock (11) on the
side of the Auto Winder is
being depressed, slide the Bat-
tery Compartment Case (1O),
and it will be detached from
the Auto Winder.
2 Pull out the battery holder
plate, position six AA bat- --- teries in the oompartment
according to the diagram
shown inside the compart-
ment, while observing the "+"
and "-" positions.
3. to mount the battery com-
partment case to the Auto
winder, place two-thirds of
the case over the Auto Wind-
er as indicated in the picture
and then snap it closed.
2. MOUNTING
CAMERA
1. Cock the camera's film trans-
port lever to wind the film.
2.rurn off the Main Switch (6)
of the Auto Winder.
3. Rtign the guide hole of the
bottom of the camera's body
with the Guide Pin (1) of the
Auto Winder and then turn
the Camera Mounting Knob (8) clockwise (in the arrow-
marked direction shown in
the picture) until it stops to
ascertain that the knob is
tightly locked.
4. Turn on the main switch of
2*1 the Auto Winder and oPerate the motor, depressing the
Shutter Release Button. When
the Auto Winder is to be mounteci on rhe camera in
which a roll of film has already
been loaded, make sure that
the first frame is transported
by the Auto Winder after it
has been exposed.
When the camera does not
properly operate in a situa-
tion where the Auto Winder
has been equipped to the
camera, detach the Auto
Winder and mount it again in
the correct way.

3. DETERMINATION OF
SHUTTER SPEED
o For continuous shooting, use
a shutter speed faster than
1/6O sec.
o For single-frame shooting, all
shutt€r speeds are usable.
4. MAIN SWITCH TO ,,ON,,
]f the main switch of the Auto
Winder is turned on while the
f ilm is not transported, the
motor will be put into operation
to transport the film bY one
frame. lf the main switch of the
Auto Winder remains turned off
even with the Auto Winder
mounted on the camera, the
f ilm transport lever may be
manually cocked to wind the
film.
When the Auto Winder is in
operation, do not cock the
film transport lever.
5. CHECK EXPOSURE
AND
SHUTTER RELEASE
When the film transport lever of
the carnera is pulled out, the
exposure meter switch will be
turned on. check the exposure,
depress the shutter release but-
ton and immediately remove the
finger, and the shutter will be
released and the film trans-
port€d by one frame. lf You
keep pressing down the shutt€r
release button, You will be able
to shoot pictures in succession
at a rate of about 1.8 frames Per
second.
6. FILM REWIND AND
WARNING SIGNAL
LAMP
With the l\uto Winder mounted
on the cam€ra, the film may be
rewound using th€ following
procedure:
1. When the film is completely
wound, the film wind mecha-
nism will stop, the Warning
Signal Lamp (5) will be turn-
ed on and the motor will start.
2. lmmediatety turn ott the
main switch to prevent ex-
cessive battery use.
3. ln this situation, make sure
that the main switch is turned
on with the Film Rewind
Lever (7) is depressed in the
direction indicated by the
arrow mark. The motor will
start operating and then stop.
4. Rewind the film with the
camera's film rewind crank.
