SETTINGEXPOSURE

                                                              In outomotic setting of the exposure, the exposure

                                                      shutter speed ond lens operture  The KOWA  SER

                                                speed, Shutter speed ond lens operture.  its CdS
                                                meter couples to  the wide ronge of EV 3  to 17

                                                         Pull ASA speed chonge button on lens borrel ond
                                                        turn ASA speed ring so thot speed of the film you

                                                Turn shutter speed ring ond set   it  ot  speed you

   Notes  :
     *   lf desired ASA speed reoding does not oppeor in ASA speed window, turn shutter speed ring.
     * Exposure meter needle will not center if your shutter speed  is  too  slow  or   f ost.  Chonge shutter
     speed.

  Since the KOWA  SER hos o fully-coupled CdS exposure meter, fhe  lens operture con be set first, ond
   lhe correcl exposure lhen determined by chonging the shutter speed.    lt  is  odvisoble, however,  to  set
   lhe shutler speed first.
  Note:   When ASA 50  film is used, select shutter speed one click slower thon ASA  lO0  film shown  in
          obove toble, ond one click foster for ASA 200  film.

FOCUSING





   In toking piclures with the single-lens-reflexKOWA  SER, the imoge is focused by  turning the ,lens borrel
  helicoid ring ond looking in the focusing screen.  For more  precise ond  eosier focusi;g, o split-imoge
   circle is in the center of  the focusing screen.  The lens is focused occurotely when  the  two'holves  of
  lhe split-imoge ore oligned._ A ground gloss oronud the split-imoge mokes focusing eosier.
  The viewfinder olso hos o fresnel lens for corner-to-corner brightness ond o plono-ionvex lens for greoter

     sure, sleody holding bose for  the lens,  You should of course hondle your lenses corefully when chong-.
     ing lhem.
      All KOWA SER interchongeoblelenses hove fully outomotic diophrogm ond couple to the comero's built-
      in meter ond shutter speed.
    To Remove the Lens
    Press the lens locking-releoselever on the boyonet mount, give the lens o one-eighth turn  to the left,
    ond pull out the lens.
    To Mount lhe Lens .  .  .
     Align the red mork on fhe reor edge of the lens with the red mork on the upper port of the boyonet mount,
     insert the lens into the mount ond give   it o one-eighth turn to the right.  The lens will lock into  ploce
