Sequence frame release
Sequence release is put into action by the
release button on the Motor-Winder housing
being depressed. As long as the finger holds
the release down one shot will succeed
another up to 2 pictures per second accord-
ing to exposure time. All exposures times set
automatically or manually and the setting
(X" : 1 /90 seconds (for synchronising elec-
tronic flash) can be used.
Electrical release
Different remote releases and control units
can be connected to the Motor-Winder R3
via the S-pole socket. Depending on which
operation is set, sequence or single frame
release takes Place.
Double and multiPle exPosure
Double and multiple exposures are possible
with or without the Motor-Winder R3 being
attached. The function of the selector is Attention

Accessories for the Motor-Winder R3 Hand grip R3 for hand-held photography, code no. 14271 223892 r1 R As a result of the hand grip with adjustable wrist strap, the LEICA R3-MOT with Motor- Winder R3 can be held more securely and comfortably. lt is attached by means of a slotted screw on the Motor-Winder R3. For mounting, the metal parts of the camera's carrying strap must be taken out of the right-hand eyelet of the camera. (See camera instruction booklet). Sequence photography takes place, when the hand grip is in position, via the release button of the hand grip.
