Full-aperture exposuremetering
Practically every LEICA R lens has an auto-
matic spring-back diaphragm. This means
that, when you take an exposure-meter
reading, a spring opens the diaphragm to
full aperture regardless of the preset stop
an then closes it again to the required
aperture setting for the exposure.
Working-aperture exposure metering
Some lensesand accessoriesdo not have an
automatic spring back diaphragm or lack
the linkage mechanism for it. This applies,
