                      tierung zu .vermeiden.  Hierzu wird  die Rcindelschroub-e (A)
                        zur,  seitlichen,  die  Schroube  (H)  zur  Hohenverstellu-ng
                      g e l o s t  u n d  n o c h d e r V e r s t e l l u n g w i e d e r  o n g e z o g e n .


                    Most   Efficient  Extension
                   The  most  effective  use  of  the lensshade   is made, when
                                       it   is  extended   as  far  as  possible.  The   limit   of  the
                     possible   extension   can  easily  be  controlled   on  the
                     groundglass.    This   control     is   facilitated    by   slightiy
                         shifting   the  Compendium     in   front   of  the  iens.  With
                    growing  camera  extension   a  greater  extension   of  the
                 Compendium   becomes  possible  and  the  longer   carry-
                       ing  rod   is  required.

                      Adjusting   the  Color  Compendium    to Camera
                  Movements
                                     If  a  rising   front  movement    or  a  lateral   shift   of  the
                       lens  is used  the  front  frame   of  the  Color  Compendium
                    must  be moved   in  the  same  direction    in  order   to  pre-
                      vent   vignetting.    This    is  made   possible   by   losening
                    screw  A   for   lateral   shifts,  and  screw  B  for  vertical
                   movements.  When   the  required   position    is  reached, the

unmittelborvor dem Obiektiv, eingesteckt.Dozu schwenkt

Use  of  Filter   Foils

When   using  any   of  the  available   gelatine   filter   foils
(Agfa,  Kodak,   etc.)  they  are   firstly   placed   in  folding

frames  which  are  supplied  by  Linhof  and  then  inserted
into   the   filter  frame  E  directly    in  front   of  the  lens.

It  is  not  necessary   to remove  the  Color  Compendium,
since   it can  easily  be  shifted  to  the  side,  as shown   in
