www.butkus.us The Super 23 offers all advantages of the fast-handling Standard 23 - plus the convenience of a bright-framefinder system and the added versatility of back move- ments. A speed demon in your hands, it is a superbly competent view camera when mounted on a tripod or other support. Yet its cost is surprisingly modest. Distortion problems in architectural or interior photog- raphy need never stump you. The Super 23 back swings in all directions and can be locked in any position to correct perspective distortion. The back movements also enable you to control depth-of-field in closeup work. By extending the back without tilting or swinging you add up to 11A" to the lens-to-film distance, enabling you to work closer to the subject. For extreme closeups, you can insert accessory extension tubes between camera and lens. The ground glass panel, available for use with both Super 23 and Standard 23, permits precise focus and composition. You can see the effects of back-swings on perspective and depth-of-field, and you enjoy freedom from parallax in closeup applications.View original page 6
