PRAKTICA-USERS.COM The definitive equipment listing for Prakticas on the internet Lenses -> M42 -> Meyer Orestor / Pentacon 2.8/135 Construction - 5 elements, 4 groups ‘Angular field - 18° Minimum focusing distance - 1.5m (pre-set), 1.7 (auto) Diaphragm action - Pre-set / Fully automatic Minimum aperture - f/32 (pre-set), f/22 (auto) Filter size - 55mm screw-in type Push-on diameter - 57 (pre-set) / 60mm (auto) Weight - 515g (pre-set), 470g (auto) Barrel length - 94mm (pre-set), 89mm (auto) Special features - detachable lens hood, interchangeable adapter (pre-set), extendable lens hood (auto) Description - A larger version of the 2.8/100, this lens was first made as Lens schema: the Meyer Orestor with bright fluting finish and pre-set diaphragm, and a detachable mount which can be exchanged for those to make it fit other 35mm SLR cameras. Its production continued with its name changed to Pentacon, where it acquired all black styling, but retained normal coating. The automatic version started in the black fluting period, where both auto and electric versions were made, and acquired multi-coating one generation further down the line. It was also available in B- mount as the Pentacon Prakticar 2.8/135. Maldonado Fisker Additional data: Camera: Praktica LTL 3 Shot on: Kodak 200 ASA at 125 sec and f4 or 5,6 (not accurate) One day while i was testing the Pentacon lenses i suddenly discovered this postman dressed in red uniform and reading the address carefully. Although the sun was very shiny and strong, the lens still handled the difficult red colour quite fair, I simply like the Pentagon 135 mm much and I will use it more often in the future.
