Your specially designed Auto Electroflash 2OOX solves longstanding
problems electronically for easy, foolproof, and versatile operation with
Minolta's new XD and XG cameras, Sliding the unit's mounting bracket into
the camera's hot shoe connects it cordlessly, Whenever it is charged, a signal
to the camera starts an LED flash-ready signal blinking in the viewf inder and
electronically sets the camera for X sync. speed when the shutter is released.
You can select from four settings in two modes, one of which enables
continuous-sequence flash exposures up to two frames per second with
Ni-cd batteries and an auto winder, Autoflash pictures can be made at either
of two apertures with a series-thyristor circuit for fastest recycling and most
flashes per battery. A full-power setting yields maximum guide number. All
necessary information is conveniently displayed on the back of the unit,
Before using this flash unit for the first time, please read this manual all
the way through-or at least far enough to cover your own picture-taking
needs-while loading batteries, attaching to camera, and handling and
acquainting yourself with the unit and its parts and features. This way, you
can take good pictures and begin to realize the full potential of your Auto
Electrof lash 2OOX right f rom the start.
