Your Minolta Auto Electroflash 320X or 320'is a sophisticated,clip-on automatic
flash unit that forms the heart of a comprehensiveflash system. The flash unit's
features combined with optional system accessoriesenable a flexibility and ease of
operation not possiblewith previousclip-on flash units. The exclusiveMinolta variable
GN/powe.r control lets you for the first time select up to nine guide-number/power
settings in both automatic and manual modes. This enablestailoring flash output to
your specific needs for depth-of-field control, winder/motor-drive sync., fillflash, and
other practical uses. The accessory Power Grip 1 provides balanced handling of flash
'The and camera as well as increased power capacity and reduced recycle timesl
32OX/32O's removable sensor coupled with the accessory Remote Sensor'Adapter
allow off-camera placement of the flash for dramatic lighting effects. The optional
Panel Set includes lens panels for matching flash coverageto the lens being used and
filter panels for special/practical effects. The bounce-flash head has a full range of
movements both upward and to either side. Each unit also features an FDC light to
confirm proper flash exposure and an energy-savingthyristor circuit for reduced
recycle times and maximum number of flashes.The 320X also has a specialcontact
that automatically sets the camera for proper X sync. when the shutter is releasedand
activates a viewfinder flash-ready signal when used on either a Minolta XD or XG
camera.

attaching bracket into the hot shoe as far as it will
go and turn the bracket clamp as shown to secure
