By odding on extension odopter between the comero ond the lens, pictures con be token from 17 inches to 10 inches. To toke picturesof stitl closer distoncesr eXtension tubes ore odded between the extension odopter ond the comero. When using extension tubes the outo- motic lens will not couple with the shutter releose. In th is cose, it is suggestedthot two coble releoses be used, one on the lens to close the diophrogm ond one on the comero to trip the shutter. This will preserve the odvontogesof the outomotic lens for close-up photogrophy. The shutter con be releosed by usingo coble releose with q Leico-type fitting ot the shutler refeose b utfon in f ront ; in th is cose it will be more convenient if the lens is mounted with the red dot on the lens lined up with the blue (insteod of the red) dot on the qeXtensionodopter.View original page 6
