Externol DC Power Source

Insert the occessory DC plug into the DC
iock on the bottery chomber coVerr ond the
inside circuit will be chonged over to be
connected to on externol DC power source.
Any power source which gives DC current
of obout 0.4 A ot the voltoge l2V con be
used.
Also, DC, rectified from AC, con be used
so for os too much ripple current is not
produced, which moy c0use iniurious effects
on the inside circuit of the Motor Drive.
ln this cose, VOltoge should by no meons
exceed l6V.                                                                 Fig. 4

           Fitting to the Comero

              First' ottoch the terminol odopter to the Motor Drive with its plug inserted into  the
            terminol socket on the Motor Drive. Then, plugging the moin body of the power pock
 .[
           into the cdopter (fig.5-O), turn it (fig.5-@) ond tighten up the fostening screw on the
          bottom, using o smoll coin.
          Chonging of the film con be done with the bottery cose ottoched to the Motor Drive.

   Operotion
The Motor Drive wi ll operote by depressing the releose button on the lock ring found on the
top of the power pock. With the dot on the lock ring being set ot L, the button will be
locked. For operotion, turn the dot clockwise until it  stops.
The S-C ring on the Motor Drive moy be set ot ony  position; setting ot L is recommended
to prevent occidentol firing.
Of course, the Motor Drive wi ll  be operoted by
depressing the releose button on the Motor Drive.
For single exposure' turn the S-C switch on the side of the
power pock to S, ond for sequence photogrophy, to C.
The firing rote con be chonged by turning the odiusting
ring found on the bock of the Motor Drive.

           Remote Control
                 l.  Using Pistol Grip
             The connecting cord between the cordless bottery power pock ond the Pistol Grip
                     ovoi loble on order.I                is
             Connect the cord between the remote control socket on the power pock ond the
             screw on the Grip' ond the Motor Drive wi ll  stort running by monipuloting the
                trigger on the Grip. This provides convenience especiolly when using o zoom or o
               long telephoto lens.
         2. Using Timer or Intervolometer
              Connect o plug, ovoi loble on the morket, to the remote control socket on the side
             of the power pock, to estoblish o switch circuit, by closing ond opening of which, o
                timer or intervolometer, etc. will  be operoted.
            As the circuit resistonce of the two-wire cord does not exceed obout 100 Ohms, the
i'$              remote control wi ll be possible over quite o long distonce by using the two-wire
I             cord os long os needed for the distonce.
          When using semi-conductor for the switch, the plus is connected to the A side ond
              the minus to the B side. The minus side of the body wi ll be eorthed.
            The current flowing to the switch is obout 12V, 30mA.

  Neck Strop

Put eoch D-ring onto the eyelet on the power pock
ond thot on the rewind-knob end of the comero.
Then, ottoch the circulor ring to the eyelet on the
winding lever end of the comero.
Possing one end of the strop through the circulor
ring, ottoch it to the D-ring on the power pock by
meons of the two-heod stud. The other end of the
strop is ottoched to the D-ring on the rewind-knob
