Thank you for purchasingthe Nikon Wireless Speedlight system. To get
the most out of your Speedlight system, please read this instruction
manual thoroughlybefore use. Also read "Close-up Speedlight
Photography Eiamples," a separate booklet that provides an overview of
Speediight flash-shootingcapabilities and contains photographic
examplds. Keep your camera and Speedlight instructionmanuals handy
for quick reference.

This Speedlightsystem,which featuresthe NikonCreativeLightingSystem.
(CLS),'providesa varietyof wirelessmultipleflashand close-upflashoperations.
ine SpeeOlightsystemmainlyconsistsof the WirelessSpeedlightCommander
SU-800,whichcontrolsflashoutputwhen mountedon CLS-compatiblecameras;
the WirelessRemoteSpeedlightSB-R2OO,which has a guide numberof 1O/33
(lso 100,m/ft.)or14146(lso 2OO,m/ft.);and the AttachmentRingSX-1,which is
used to attachthe SB-R200to the front of the lens.
o WhenusingCLS-compatiblecameras,you can dividethe Speedlightunitsinto
  threegroupsand controlthe flashoutputindependentlyfor each group.
 r Wirelessclose-upflashoperationis possiblewhen the SU-800is mountedon
  a ClS-comoatiblecamerato controlthe SB-R200(p' 65).
o TheSB-R2OOcan be attachedto the frontof the lens,held in your hand,or
