PREPARATION
Prior to using the NikonoslV-A,check to see that
theO-ringsare not scratchedand thatthereis no sand
or otherforeignmatterattachedto the rings Then,
youmustlubricatethe fourO-ringsshownin red using
the tube of lubricantprovided Lubricationmakes
the cameraback easy io open and the lens or other
partseasyto attach;it also protectsthe O-ringsf rom
excessivewear. Apply the lubricantsparingly,yet
makesure thereare no gaps betweenareasof appli-
cation.lt is recommendedthat lubricantbe applied
whennecessaryto ensurethe longestpossibleservice
