Connectsto the AC power cable. The AC inputvoltageis 115 volt, 60 Hz"
PWR Switch
Controlsthe AC power to the flash circuit. The main capacitorsautomaticallydischargewhen the PWR switch is off.
NOTE - it is not necessaryto turn the PWR switchoff when connectingor disconnectinglightson power supplies

EXPLANATIONOFINDICATORSANDCONTROL
MODELINGLAMP DIMMERS
Dimsthe modelinglampsso thattheywillratioto the flashoutputs. The dimmersare calibratedin one f /stop increments(four
stop range).Properadjustmentof the modelinglampsenablesyou to see the actuallight ratiosand shadowdetailwith the
modelinglamps.Youcan also raiseor lowerthe overallmodelinglampbrillianceand stillmaintainthe properbalanceto the
flash.A real assetwhen photographingpeoplewhere the modelinglamps are uncomfortablybrightfor the subject. Also
convenientwhen all the flash outputs are on low power and you need more light to focus on the subject.
DIMMER#1 - Controlsthe modelinglampson the two 1 <----->2
output #1 connectors.
DIMMER#2- Controlsthe modelinglampson the two
output #2 connectors.
400 w-s ffiThere is a one f /stop relationshipbetween400 w-s and
200w-s.Therefore,if one lightis at 400w-s (output#1) and
anotherlightis at 200 w-s (output#2), the output#1 (400 400
w-s)dimmercouldbe set to fulland the output#2 (200w-s)
dimmercouldbe setto"1" (1 f /stop lessthanfull).Thisway
the modelinglampson output#2will be one f /stop weaker FULL
than the modelinglampson output#2 (justlikethe flash).
Referto illustration#1.
lllustration #1
lf a secondlightwere addedto output#2 the f lash output
on that side would be reducedby one more f/stop (to 100
w-s each). Therefore, the output#2 dimmercould be lf the modelinglamps are uncomfortablybrightfor the
adjusted1o"2" (2 f/stopsdownfromfull illumination). This subjectyou can lowerthem in directratioby adjustingboth
would enableyou to stillcomposeyour lightingwith the dimmersby the same amount.See illustration#3.
