One of the moior reosons foi roking pictures is to record life os it exists. The
comero lens is like our eyes. We wont to put on fiim whot our eyes see. Our
eyes con look of o newspoper, or o person ocross the toble, or three miles
owoy, ond they will oll be shorp to us. lf something very close ond very for
is shorp to us qt the some time-like our eyes see things-it is colled greot
" depth of field ". Our eyes hove o greot depth of field. :
The lenses found on most ordinqry comeros do NOT hove o grebt depth of
field. But the D. ZUIKO lens on the Olympus PEN EE-S hos one of the greo?est
depth of fields in existence. To prove ihis, mqke o photogroph of o neor
obiect, o middle obiect ond o for-owoy obiect in the some picture. The
Olympus PEN EE-S will get them ALL shorp ot the some time, JUST AS OUR EYES
WOULD SEE IT.
