oooooG€soasssesoe Advontogesof the D. ZUIK0Wide Anglelens One of the moior reosons for toking pictures is to record life os it exists. The comero lens is like our eyes. We wont to put on film whot our eyes see. Our eyes con look of o newspoper, or o person ocross the toble, or o three miles owoy, ond they will oll be shorp to us. lf something very close ond very for is shorp to us of the some time-like our eyes see things-it is colled greot " depth of f ield ". Our eyes hove o greot depth of field. The lenses found on most ordinory comeros do NOT hove o greot depth of f ield. But the D. ZUIKO lens on the Olympus PEN hos one of the greotest depth of fields in existence. To prove this, moke o photogroph of o neor obiect, o middle obiect ond o for-owoy obiect in the some picture. The Olympus PEN will get them ALL shorp ot the some time, JUSTAS OUR EYESWOULD SEE lT. (To be doubly sure, use the highest numbered f/stop whenever possible.lView original page 18
