placesyou visit-interesting dates and
facts about the children, their age at the
time the pictures were made-the auto'

thesenotationsadd to the value of every
picture you make. Architects, engineers
and contractorswho make photographic
records of progressive work, can add
greatly to their value by adding notes
and dates permanently on the negatittes
by means of the Autographic Kodak.
The amateur photographer who wants
to improve the quality of his work can
make notations on his negatives,of the
light conditions, stop and exposure.
Just release a rtop and a little dooropens in the back
of the Kodak ; write whatever notation you want, on
the red paper of the Autographic Film Cartridge with
a pencil or stylus ; expose from 2 to 5 seconds; close
the door and you are ready for the next exposure. On
the margins betw€en the negatives will appear a per-
manent photographic reproduction of the notation you
made. It ii not a part of the Autographic plan to
have this writing appear in the print itself, but simply
rhat it be kept as a record,of date and title on the
negative. It is obvious, however, that it is no trouble
to include it on the print when desired,
