However, sharp focusing is impossible due to ambient light. To correct this impairment, the Folding Focusing and Rigid Magnifying hoods are effective in shielding the focusing screen from ambient light, enabling you to use the camera as 2 waist-level system. These hoods also allow the se of vertical copy stands and low-height tripods. The Folding Focusing Hood 67 I can be folded and is therefore portable. The Rigid Magnifying Hood 6711 is provided with diopter adjustment. ‘Note: With both hoods, the image is seen laterally reversed. ® BHFLRRABA ARBRE OBS: S79 DAGRRA BA 87075 Remove the pentaprism and attach this hood by following the steps below. Note the image is seen laterally reversed when using this hood. The photo graphs in this operating manual are 67. However 671 can be used in the same manner as 67. 1. As shown in photo 1, open the hood by raising the rear part with your thumb until the side flap of the hood is placed in vertical position. The focus magnifier will automaticaly be projected in place 2. Focus the lens on the subject. To get a full view Of the focusing screen, lift up the magnifier and push it forward as shown in poto 2 3. To fold the hood, place the magnifier in its ‘original position and then push the front and rear Of the hood with your fingers. This will fold the hood toits original position. When the hoodis not in use, fold the hood in its original position. Rigid Magnifying hood 6: Remove the pentaprism and attach this hood. Note the image is seen laterally reversed when using this hood, ‘© How to adjust the Diop! 1. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring as shown in photo 4 until the circle in the viewfinder appears in the sharpest focus. 2. After adjusting the diopter, correct the position Of the eyecup.
