HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LENS
(1) REMOVTNG THE LENS
Turn the Lens [t4ount Ring in a counter-clockwise direction
until the red mark appears on top of the lens barrel. The
lens can then be removed from the camera.
(2) TNSERTING THE LENS
Line up the red dot on the camera body with that on the
lens mount ring. Then insert the lens making sure that
the protruding lock on the bayonet mount of the lens is
on the top. When the lens is in position, turn the lens
mount ring tightly in a clockwise direction.
.HOw TO USE THE PRESET DIAPHRAGM
Set the desired aperture on the diaphragm ring, then
turn the preset ring clockwise (to the end) ani the dia'
phragm opens fully for viewing and focusing.
Before you release the shUtter, turn the preset ring in an
anti-clockwise direction until the green mark on the preset
ring lines up with that on the diaphragm ring. (For fully
automatic diaphragms, refer to the Instruction Book for
your Petri SLR camera.)

AHOw TO READ THE DEPTH.OF.FIELD SCALE
The depth-of-fleld scale is engraved on the lens barrel and
indicated in black lines spreading out on both sides of the
index marker at the centre. Simply focus the lens in the
normal way, and each pair of black lines which points to
the Diaphragm Scale indicates the depth-of-fleld zone cor-
responding to the diaphragm you set.
For example, the depth-of-field zone for the 35mm lens
is indicated as follows: When the focusing distance is
10 feet (3m) and f/8 is selected, one of black lines at f/8
points to approximately 6 feet (1.8m), the nearest point
still in focus and the other points to 30 feet (10m) on
the other side, being the furthest distance in focus. See
