Polaroid has designed a unique photographic system. Using a tiny elec- '
Polaroid the systemtronic computer, f lash and
f ilm measures it with the right light- afromcamerathe sublectwith a built-inand blends600 Landamount of f lash- for beautiful pictures, indoors and outdoors. In strong sun--
light, the f lash adds lust enough light to soften harsh shadows.

In addition, the Model 660 AutoFocus camera has an automatic focusing
system which consists of a f ixed front lens and an internal rotating disk with
four lenses Using sound waves to measure the distance between the cam-
era lens and your subject, the computer selects the correct lens that will
put your subject in sharp focus.
Throughout the text you will find a series of numbers. Each of these-
refers to a picture on the fold-out pages.

Use Polaroid 600 color film only. Other Polarold films wlll not fit Into or

. Model 660: Be sure the soundwaves have a clear path to your subject
Look through the viewf inder and frame your picture.
Press the red shutter button (Picture 6) until you feel resistance and hold it
f lash is charging (You there. A red light in the viewfinder indicates that the
f lash charges in 5 cannot take a picture while the f lash is charging ) The
f lash is fully charged and wili seconds. When the red light goes out, the
remain so for several minutes. (Charge the f lash in advance to take a spon-
taneous picture.)

While it is developing, keep it out of direct sunlight and inside a warm
pocket when temperature is below 13'C (55"F).
The autofocus by-pass and non-flash buttons
. ilodel660: To photograph a dayllght scene (more than 3m/12ft. away)
through glass: Press and hofd in the autofocus by-pass button (Picture
7,A), then press the non-flash button (Picture 7,8) to take your picture.
. Modef 640: To avoid a flash reflection when photographing through
glass in daylight: Press the non-f lash button (Picture 7,B)to take your

The Lighten/Darken Control
Use it to fighten (Picture 8,A) or to darken (Picture 8,B) a second picture of
the same subj.-ct.
Return the controtto the center (Picture 8,C). Should you forget, a
double white arrow will appear inside the bottom of the viewfinder to serve
as a reminder.
Keep developer rollers clean
Dirt on the rollers can cause repeated spots, bar patterns and other faults

Hold det fremkaldende billede i den brede kant. Hvis kameraet ikke virker
Medens billedet fremkaldes, skal det beskyttes mod direkte sollys, og hvis
temperaturen er under 13", legges det i en varm inderlomme under . Check billedtelleren. Hvis f ilmkassetten er tom, vil blitzen stadig oplade,
fremkaldelsen. men udloseren virker ikke.
. Kig isogeren. Hvis den rade lampe lyser, oplader blitzen stadig, og
Autofocus og blitz afbrydere udloseren virker derfor ikke.

Lys/mork kontrollen bruges til at gare neste billede af samme motiv lysere
(Fig 8,A) eller markere (Fig. 8,8).
Stil bagefter kontrollen tilbage til midterstillingen igen (Fig 8,C) . Gar
man det ikke, kommer en dobbelt, hvid pil til syne inde i bunden af sogeren
som en pAmindelse.
Hold fremkaldervalserne rene
Snavs pA valserne kan give gentagne pletter, striber og andre fejl pA bille-
