PREMO CAME RAS Have been manufactured and have given continuous good service to the public for over thirty years. They not only have these long years of keen manufacturing experience behind them, but are also bactr<edby the policy of the Eastman Kodak Co. of allow- irg nothing to be placed on the market which will not do all that is claimed for it, Anyone interested in amareur photography will find listed in this catalogue a line of plate, film pack, and roll film cameras from which a most satisfactory choice can be made, no matter what the requirements may b", and each model is efficient and dependable in the fullest sense of those terms.View original page 4

3'/+*51 (postcard) size camera is furnished with the Kodak
Anastigmat Lens f .7.7, providing greater speed and excellent
definition.
The shutter furnished with all models of the Premo No. 8,
is a modified form of the Koclak Ball Bearing, having all the
precisionancl smooth action of that shutter. It is graduated for
speedsof | /25, L/50 and l/100 seconds,as well as for bulb and
time expostlres.
The body of the camera is made of seasonedwood, with
front bed of alutninutn and metal runways. The bed ancl body
are covereclwith black grain leather; the bellows is black and
the nretal parts are finished in nickel, giving the camera a neat,
attractive appearance.
The Premo No. 8 is made for the three larger popular sizes
of pictures-the 3t/+-511, tbe 4 x 5 ancl the 5 x7. Contact
prints of these sizes are as large pictures as the amateur ordi-
r-rarily desires, but enlargements of practically any size ntay be
made from the negatives. The proportions of these sizes are
cxceptionally well suited for figure work. When the camera
is fitted with the Kodak Portrait Attachn-rent, and the com-
position is focused and adjusted upon the ground glass for
focusing, the Premo No. 8 is unusually effective for home
portraiture.

tities, that carneras of such exceptional cluality may be offered
at such nroderateprices.
The box is mide of aluntinum, which means strength and
light weight, the standard is so formed as to be unusually rigid
and metal parts are finished in nickel and black enamel. The
covering is of a substantial grade of imitation leather, the finder
is reversible, two tripod sockets are provided and an automatic
focusing lock so that the lens can be set positively for any dis-
tance rn an lnstant.
The cameras load with standard Eastman N. C. film. This
is not only an assurance of the quality of the results to be
obtained, but means that every process-loacling, unloacling,
developing-can be performed in daylight, eliminating the darl<-
room entirely.
The shape of the negatives made by these cameras is very
appropriate for portraiture. The Kodak Portrait Attachment
adapts either of these caneras to home portraiture.
