EXPOSURE FOR FTASH
Determining correct exposure for flosh is very simple. With c given flcrsh
bulb ond o given film speed, the distonce in feet {from suhiect to flosh}
multiplied by the stop number equols o constont foctor.
This {cctor system hqs been workeC out by the mcnufoctu?'ers of flosh
                                                                             (usuo!lybulbs, who in their exposure guides provide c ioctor number
referred lo os Guide Number).
As on exomple of how it works, let us ossume thot you hove decided
                                                                            reet.to use o flosh-bulb with o Guide Number ol 80, ot 10
Divide l0 (the distonce in feet) into 80 tthe Guide Number! ond you

SEIECTING FLASH.BUTBS FOR YOUR SKYMASTER
There ore three generol closses of floshbulbs, F (Fost) M (Mediuml ond
F. P. (Focol Plone).
The SKYMASTER  { ,2.8 comero hos been designed to use F closs bulbs.
With these bulbs it is possible to toke flosh picture ot oll shutter
speeds. Ute of M closs bulbs with the SKYMASTER is olso possible.
The shutter synchronizes ot oll speeds with the electronic flosh units,
ond olso ot    | /25 seconds or slower with the closs M bulbs
{such os Press No. 5 or Press No. 25l'. F. P. bulbs (such os No. 6 or
No. 22l' ore designed for use with Focol Plone Shutter Comeros, ond
ore not recommended for use with the SKYMASTER.
