FILM LOADING
Open camera back by sliding the catch in the
diiection ol the engraved arrow. Pull out knob A
of illustration. Put the spool in the empty conrpart-
ment. Insert the tapered end of the film in the slot
ol the empty spool and thread evenly with a few
turns of the- knob B. Close the back of the camera
with the catch.
The left side ol the perforated film then engages
in the teeth of the couhting device and the thread-
ing is locked automatically, - when the knob B --woundis a little further. This automatic locking
ol the lilm occurs after every exposure and in order
to wind the lilm for the lollowing exposure it is
only necessary to press the release knob C (illu-
stration page 4).
When loading the lilm, it is adviseable to set the
counting device on nought by the knob G, so that
the counting starts trom one up to 36 expqsures.
This settingto nought occurs by lreeing the knob G
from its locking device and moving to and fro.
until number nought appears in the counting window.
The locking device is then switched back to its
locking position.
The film is then wound until it is locked automati-
cally, when the first exposure can then be made'

pressing button E (illu-
stration page 4). The set-
ting of Compur Shutter,

way. The limits of the
picture are given by the

The _-G ( built - in type ). camera is closed by pres-

on both sides oI the black
enamelled front plate and
by lifting the base board.
-D UNLOADING
The film must be wound

ADDITIONAT INSTRUCTIONS FOR
DOLLINA II
(Coupled Range Finder Model)
The Dollina II is operated in the same way as the
Dollina I. However,-as far as focussing is concerned
with the Dollina I[, the coupled range finder oper-
ates automatically as follows:
The camera is held in the left hand. By looking
through the window H of the range liirder, the
operator will, as long as the distance is not cor-
rectly set, see the picture separated in two halves.

FOCUSSING as Dollina I[.
FILM RE-WIND as Dollina II.
IMPORTANT I It is strongly advised not to
operate the release R without film in the camera,
since the mechanism is designed for perfect oper-
ation only when Ioaded.
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
SUPER DOLLINA
The handling of the camera particularly the opening;
film winding; taking out the exposed f ilrn,- etc. is
the same as already explained for the other Dollina
rnodels. The only departures from the general
Dollina instructions are as follows: The focusslng
can only be carried oul when lhe camera ls open.
FILM LOCKINC DEVICE
The locking device is put out of action by pressure
on the round knob M situatecl at the back. Before
winding the lilm the counting dial should be set
a! nought, this being eflected by rotating the milled
disc N in a clok-wise direction,
The focumtng is then carried out by gripping the
camera in both hands and rotating with thb thurnb

ned. The focussing knob should be rotated until
the two halves oI the picture are made to coincide
when looking through- the focussing eyepiece H.The camera is then set for the correct ilistance,
and you can ascertain by a glance at the scale [i,
at what distance the subject is situated. This deter-
mination of the distance is necessary before the
4ept-h of focus can be ascertained by *eans of thedepth of focus table printed on the back of the
camera
DEPTH OF FOCUS TABLE
To find out the depth in questiotr, it is necessary 'bothto take into consideration of'the columns ot
distances starting at the table and the row of dia-
phragm figures topping the column. At the cros-
sing of ttte line corresponding to the distance of
ygur subject and the line which corresponds to the
diaphragm selected, will be found the figures which
correspond to the depth of focus. For instance when
il focussing you reail opposite the indicator ol the
focussing dial the figur_e *-ill see that the lo, JoLlcamera is focussed at l0-ft. By looking on the line
which starts with 10, you will-see thal where that
line crosses the column headed I I (f/11) the depth

THE PLUNGER RELEASE
This release is operated as Iollows: After having
opened the lront of the cam era by pressure on the
catch E you set the
-I Compur shutter by pus- hing the setting lever
_-'D upwards (see the en-
closed instructions for
use of the Compur) and
M you can then release
the shutter by pressure
on the plunger $ situa-
-T ted on top of the body.
r- The shutter cannot be N operated a second time - as the shutter setting
and the film winding
device are linked and
this excludes any pos-
sibility of double ex-
by D posure. It is only winding the film, how-
F ever, by means of the - Iilm winding knob B
locks, that the - until it A plunger.relea6e is freed - rn readiness for the 'second exposure.

TIME EXPOSURES AND DOUBLE
EXPOSURES
Time exposures require one movement of the release
to open-the shutter and another tho close it.
Two such operations are no_t posqlble with the
interblocked mechanism of the Super-Dollina, where
the possibility ol double exposures is eliminated-
unlebs the iriterlock releas6 T is operated. This
permits closing the shutter for time exposures, and
also intentional double exposures
REWINDING THF FILM
The following points should be borne in mind for
.this operation:' Pull out the lilm wind knob B and
lock if in that disengaged position by a short ro-
tation contrary to ths direction ol the engraved
lilI having rewound the whole lilm by t-ulning
the reverse spooling knob A (of coulse with the
camera closed) allo# the winding knob B to snap
back in its oiiginal position. To elfect that the
small round locking ciisc M which usually has the
f ilm after its exposu,re,f unction of locking the
must be depressed.- Only then would it be.possible
to allow th-e winding knob to retttrn withotrt da-
maging the ntechanism.
