Knob for Opening Comero. By pressing knob, front    l7l
cover drops ond bellows outomoticolly extends into po-
                                                                         insition. To close, press sliding corrioge, os shown
picture 9 ond 5, ond snop front cover to closed position.
Comero Bock Releose Cstch. To open, push button    (1)
                                                      closedin direktion of orrow. To close, press bocj< to
position then, push button in opposite direction of orrow.

                                                       knurledShutter Speed Setting Ring. To set, grosp
edges - ring con be turned in either direction. B -  Bulb,
                                               secondond numbers indicote shutter speeds,  i. e. I
 l/s   second, 1/5 second, l/1s second, etc.

         Shutter Winding Lever. To wind shutter, push lever (3)
           in direction of figure 5OO.to        Shutter Releqse Knob. lf there is no film in the  (6)
         comero don't press Knob (6). This Knob hos threods to
          occept o coble releose.
        Film Adyonce Knob. To odvonce film, turn Knob (5)  (5)
          in direction of orrow. When rewinding film (which must
       be occomplished ofter oll exposures hove been mode)
        ond to permit the internol mechonism of Knob (5) to turn
           in the opposite direction, pull Knob (5) out os for os  it
            will go, then turn slightly in opposite direction of orrow

It will remoin in elevoted position ond while in this                                               1fposition Toke-Up Spool (14) con be turned independently W
in either direction.
To depress Knob (S) turn slightly in direction of orrow ond
it will snop into position. When comero bock is open you
con observe how guiding pin engoges ond disengoges
the slot in the oxle.
Film Rewind Knob. To lood comero pull out Knob (9) (9)
ond drop fresh film cortridge into empty chomber. Then,
push Knob (9) bqcJ< into position. For rewinding  film,
Knob (9) is turned in direction of orrow.

Rongefinder Operoting Kncib. Con be 'lurned in    (4)
either direction. lts movement con be observed in Ronge-
finder Eyepiece (1 1) ond the distonce settings ore shown
in Indicotor (A) (lf Distonce Settings ore in meters. i  feet
equots 1 meter. For precise photogrophic colculotions use
5.98 feet equols 1 meter or 39.37 inches equols 1 meter.)

               incJres of film, disengoge Toke-up Spool by pulling on Knob (5)

the stot of the Toke-up Spool (141. Perforoted edge of film
tongue should be ogoinst woll of film spool to insure stroight
ond correct winding. Turn Knob (5) until film winds under
the Chrome Guide Plote of the sprocJ<et ond the film         I
perforotions properly engoge the sprocket ond close bock                                              I
cover of comero. Now moke two blind shots os follows:
     Blind Shots  Turn Winding Knob (5) in direction
       of orrow os for os it will go. Push Lever (5) in direction
       of figure 5OO. Press Knob (6). Repeot these operotions
