The ouxiiory telephoto lens is to be screwed into the
f ront of the comero lens. lts use results in o moderote
increose in effective focol length, mognifying ony given obiect
                                                             lengthby 2 oreos, .or 1l"e times lineor. This increose in focol
improves portroiture perspective by providing o lorger imoge
size ot o given distonce ond by ovoiding distortion coused
by hoving the comero too close to the subiect.  Medium
distonce sports events, distont scenery, comero-shy subiects
ond smoll obiects normolly requiring the comero to be used
of closer thon its normol focusing ronge, con oll be photo-
grophed with improved perspective rendition ond increose
imoge size with the Toron Auxiliory Telepoto Lens.


   The ouxiliory wide ongle lens is to be screwed into
the front of the comero lens. ,A wide ongle lens, giving
increqsed ongle of coveroge, is olmost indispensodle when
shooting in cromped quorters, especiolly in group photogro-
phy indoors.  For sweeping ponoromic phofos of scenery
outdoors, the wide ongle lens hos definite opplicotion. The
use of the ouxiliory wide ongle lens results in on oreo
increose of obout 75o/o os compored with the normol comero
lens used ot the some distonce from the subiect.

       With the ouxiliory felephoto lens in ploce on the comero,
    the distonce scole of the prime lens should be sef ot 0.6
     times. the octuol subiect to comero distonce, with the excep-
    tion of infinity.   For exomple; if the octuol distonce is 20
    feet, the comerq distqnce setting should be set ot 12 feet
   becouse 20 x 0,6:12.    lf the octuql distonce is 5 feet, the
   comero is set ot 3 feet os 5 x 0.6:3.    Remember, when
    shooting of infinity, however, leove lens distonce scole set
    ot infinity.


       The Toron ouxiliory wide ongle lens hos been designed
   to permit o universot sefting for  oll distonces between 25
    feet ond infinity, by setting the focusing scole of the comero
   ol 6 feet. When ctuot shooling distonce is closer thon 25
    feet, use cqmero settings os below:

       These settings ore only opproximote becouse lhe prime
    lens' depth of field is greotly increosed by the use of the
   ouxiliory wide ongle lens. With o lens operture of  f  : 8
  ond comero disfonce selting of  5' 4t', oll obiects between
   8 ft. qnd infinity will be in focus.

FOR BEST RESUtTS
       '      Toron Auxiliory Lenses will provide highly sotisfoctory
   results if the following foctors ore token into considerotion.
      There is o tendency for ouxitiory lenses to " vignette " or
                                                              ore'  .cut off corners of the negotive oreo, especiolly if they
 . mounted foo for from the surfoce of the comero's prime lens.
  .The insertion of  filfers between the prime ond ouxiliory  '.i.ns"s       roy   result in morginol imoge cul-ofi by increosing the
  distonce between the two lenses.
  .    For moximum definition ond imoge shorpness when using
  ouxiliory lenses, use lens openings f z 4.5 or smoller (f r 5.6,
  "f :6.3, f :8, f : I l, etc). When softer results ore occeptoble,  '  lorger lens opertures moy be used.


     Reod these insfrucfions ogoin corefully.    lf your results
 '. ore not completely sotisfoctory, you hove not followed the
  directions occurofely. Ggod shooting ond odded comero
  cnioyment will be obtoined when Toron Auxiliory Lenses ore
