Thank you for purchasing a Stroboframd Quick Flip Bracket. Our company is the world's leading manufacturer of
professional flash brackets. This product has been thoughtfully designed and carefully manufactured. We trust it will
serve your needs well.
The Quick Flip effectively reduces harsh shadows and eliminates the"red-eye" effect common in flash photography.
With it, you will shoot better pictures with more pleasing, professional results.
Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
Cameta: Attach the camera to the bracket with the 114"-20 mounting knob supplied, the same as if you were mount-
ing your camera on a tripod. Tighten snug enough to prevent movement but do not overtighten. Note that there are
five mounting hole locations on the bracket base. Select one that best centers your camera on the bracket.
Flash: The bracket comes with a universal shoe mount. For non-dedicated, shoe-type flash units, loosen the red
clamping screq slide flash into mount and tighten snugly. Again, do not overtighten. Connect flash to camera with
an appropriate PC or type-specific connecting cord. You may wish to use tape, common cable ties, or Stroboframe
Velcrd Cord Wrap (sold separately) to dress the cord neatly along the bracket, as desired.
lf you are using a separate flash head such as a Norman or Lumedyne, unscrew the
shoe mount from the flash arm and use the mounting screw (or a standard 114"-20
longer one if required) to mount the lamp head to the bracket.
Dedicated Flash: lf you are using an automatic, dedicated-type flash, you must pur-
chase the appropriate one for your camera brand and flash model. lf you are using the
Nikon SC-17 cord forthe'SB'series of Nikon flash units, we suggest using a
Stroboframe SC1 7 anti-twist plate (Cat No.300-C17) to prevent the flash cord module
from twisting on its mounting screw.
llandle-Dme Flash: For Metz, Sunpak and similar"handle-typd'flash units, you
need to purchase the Stroboframe Handle MountAdapter (Cat No. 300-HAN) from
your dealer.
Refer to the photograph to confirm that you have assembled your system correctly.
For horizontal shooting, the flash arm stays in the down position. The separation between
your lens and the flash eliminates "red-eyd'and softens shadows. For vertical format, rotiate
the flash arm 180 degrees. The flash will be repositioned to again be centered high above
the lens.
Your Quick Flip bracket is guaranteed against defects in parts and workmanship for a period of five years from the
date of original purchase. Required repair caused by abuse, misuse or modification are excluded from the wananty.
lif service is required, send your Quick Flip, along with a note of explanation to:
