      INSTRUCTIONS AS TO HOW TO SET YOUR EXPOSURE METER
        Firstfy you must set o ASA/DIN Index number in rhc ASA,/DIN window
       which is equol to ASA number of your film before meosuring your exposure
        meter.
       In purchosing film. however, you must be coreful of the follow.ing foct thof
       there is o difference in ASAlDlNnumber between Sunlight (Noturql light)
      ond Artificiol light. You will find o ASAID|N In&x for the film in yorr
      @moro by consulting the instrucfion sheet thot is included in the film box
      you ptrchosed.
        Secondly when )rou 3et your exposure meter correctly of o subiect, the nesde
       in the scole will swing ond indicote ot o polnt. Upon the needle thus stopped,
       put the Guide Indicotor furning the F Stop Diol.

Fnclly when fhe F Stop number you reguired indicotes one of the 'below
morked numbers,(see"REMARKS lN MEASURING EXPOSURE) thus indicoted
number is on odequofe shutfer speed for your .comero. You moy select
whofever combjnotion you desire of F Stop ond Shutter Speeds. By setting
such number you desired, oll the necessory steps will be completed ior
toking yorlr picture.
 * FOR LVS TYPE CAMERA:    'P
When you sef o ASA/DIN film number of the ASAID|N window ond put the
Guide Indicotor: upon the needle stopped in the scole, o number will be
indicoted by LVS Vmork ol yovr meter. Set thus indicoted number ot your
comsro to LVS y mork.
 * FOR POTAROID TYPE CAMERA:
Set q Poloroid number of your exposure meter ot the Poloroid Y mork of
your comero, then follow the some instructions given to LVS Type Comero.

 You musf meosure your exposure ot the neorest distonce to subiects:
                                                              from your  if you point the occeptonce-porfs of your meter ot o subiect
 c€mero position, you connof reod prop€r exposure becouse o( fhe intrusion
 of the lights from the bockground or raflected roys from the side ground.
 For instonce,when o s ubiect (your deorest one ) is in white, if you  s.et
 exposure ot your comero position, due :o the concentrofion of the reflective
 roy produced from the white clothes on the occeptonce-ports of meter, your
 deorest one's foce will be foken dorker by insufficiency of exposure.
 Consequently, you must count on overoge exposure rote of the two different
 rcflcctive lights produced from white ond block.

     When you find o preferoble subiect on the street, you moy set your cxposurc
      meter of your comero position poinfing the occeptonce-ports of yanr meter
         slightly down by ovoiding sky lighfs
       Next, )rou musi toke core in selecfing fhe combinotion of F Stop ond Shuttcr
       Speed number decided by meosurement. Foster shufter speed will be preferoble.

   FOR COUNTERLIGHT.PHOTOGRAPHING   :
       First, you will meosure fhe exposure oJ the dork ports pointing the
       occeptonce-ports of your meter of subiects.I
      Next, meosure the light ports of the bockground ond thon toke on overogeof
       the dork ond white. In cose the dork-white distinction is so cleor, it  will
      be difficult to photogroph.

To ossure continuous proper calibrotion,  the zero sef screw on the bock of
the meter is furned slightly to right or  left with o smoll screw driver to
 return the nee.ih to resf of Zero when olf light is prevented from reoching
the phofo cell.
