Advanced Applications

1) Automatic AF Assist Lamp

When working in low light conditions, the automatic AF, located on the front of the flash,
may temporarily project a harsh red light to assist in focusing. It may disturb subjects in
your shot. You can disable it in the function menu, or switch to manual focusing.

2) Adjusting Direction

This flash can rotate up 90 degrees, and
down 7 degrees. It can also rotate 180
degrees horizontally. Rotating the flash
to reflect off of ceilings and walls can
make your photos look more natural.

                                                                         -14-

Pull-out wide angle plate and reflecting card.

To achieve the best results, do not have the speedlight pointed
directly at your subject. To light your subject effectively,
bounce the light off of an object no more than 2 meters from
  the flash head.

When shooting color photos, please choose a white area to
bounce off, which will provide the most accurate color.

The included diffuser cap will cast softer light throughout your image.
