The WALZ AUTOFLASH is furnished complete with oll of the com-
ponents indicoted on the'' opposite po0e.L
To ossemble, ploce the bottery inlo the rubber bond.
Do not remove the cellophone cover from the bottery. The prongs
of the connector box should pierce the cellophone ond contoct the
two poles on top of the bottery. Then ploce the complete bottery
pock (Connector box with bottery) into vinyl corrying cose. The
plug on the Bottery Pock Coil Cord is then inserted into the outlet
on the Reflector Heod ; connecting cord is inserted into outlet on the
Reflector Heod ond the AUTOFLASH is reody to operote.

SYNGHRONIZING ro CAMERA SHUTTER

Most modern comeros hove X or M-X deloy synchronized shutters.
The WALZ AUTOFLASH will pynchronize oFoll shutter speeds when the
comero shutter is set to X deloy. lt- is importont to remember to set
the comero shutter to X deloy ot oll times when using the AUTOFLASH.
The AUTOFLASH will not synchronize ot M or F deloy even ot slow
shutter speeds. Comeros which do not hove X deloy con be modified
by locol comero repoir shops to X deloy.

Connect the shutter P. C. connecting cord to the comero shutter; moke
sure shutter is set ot X synchronizotion; moke sure neon indicoting light
is on; trip shutter on comero ond the AUTOFLASH will synchronize
perfectly.

post to the P.C. Cord furnished with the AUTOFLASH.

FLASH will lock on to the occ-
essory shoe of the Poloroid

When using the AUTOFLASH

Comeros only the EV numbers

The exposure guide toble printed on the AUTOFLASH Lomp House
indicotes the proper EV Number for Poloroid Films.
I P-200 is the some os ASA 200 ond covers Poloroid Films Type 42, 43.

A 240 Volt Bottery is provided with your AU-
TOFLASH. Everreody No.49l or equol moy be
used os o replocement bottdry
When left unopened ond foctory seoled the 240
Volt bottery will not deteriorote noticeobly even
ofter six months. With proper core the bottery
con be used for os long os one yeor.
When ossembling, do not remove the cellophone
cover from the bottery but rubber bond the
complete pock moking sure thot the prongs of the www.butkus.us
connector box pierce the cellophone ond contoct
the two poles.
Be sure to olwoys store the bottery in o dry,
cool ploce.
Switch off when not in use.
lf you do not use your AUTOFLASH for o long
period (over two monthsl it is odviseoble to
fire it ot leost once o month to keep the copocitor
formed even without toking pictures.
Before eoch picture, moke sure the neon indicoting
light is on.
This indicotes o full chorge ond thot the Auto-
flosh is reody for floshing with full light output.
The neon light lights up opproximotely every
6 io 7 seconds, when the bottery is ot full
