LOADING  THE FILM
l . Open  the Bqck Lid  (R)  of  the  cqmerq  by  pulling  out  Lock
  (o).
2. Pull out the Film Rewinding Knob (K)  os  fqr  os  it goes, then
   insert the  film mo gozine qnd  return the Rewinding Knob to  its
                                         r.ormoI position.
                                              3. Pull cut the end of  film
                                        from mo gazine ond  slip
                                           the end of    I he  leqder
                                       poper onto the Tqke-up
                                         Spo,>l (S).  Be sure the
                                            perforofions of  the  film
                                          o re  properly engo ged

CAUTION  :   ln order  to  bring the unexposed port   of  the  film
   into storting position, you  will hove to do os follows :
l. Turn the Film Winding Lever  (E)  os for os  it goes ond releose
   Shutter (F).

3. Now set the'Exposure Counter (J)  to No.  I  position by piessing
  down on the Exposure Counter Setting Button (l)  ond  turning  it
   clockwise.                            +
             H O W   T O  T A K E  P ! C T U R E S

l . Toke off the lens cop.  Meosure the distonce between you ond
   the obiect. Turn the Distonce Scole (A)   until the correct footoge
    is lined up  with  the "V"  shoped mork.   All  these scoles chow
   distonce in feet.
2. After  setting the  Distonce Scole you hove to decide which lens
   opening  to  use.  The Aperture  Scole (C)   is  indicoted on  the                  I
      t r u n k o f   t h e   l e n s o s 2 . 8 , 4 , 5 . 6 , 8 ,       l l ,   1 6  o n d  2 2 . S e l e c t t h e              l,.
   lens opening you  ore  going to use ond set  it to "V"   point by
   rototing  the Aperture Setting Ring. The lens opening hos much

      HOW TO READ DEPTHOF FOCUSSCATE
   When you focus the comero on o subieci, olher obiects, both in                                'J
front of ond  in bock of the subiect focused on, will olso be in shorp
focus. This oreo of shorp focus, which ony lens hos, is colled "depth                          $of focus". The smoller the lens opening or the greoter the distonce
from the subiecl, the greoter the depth of focus.

"M  2"  bulbs moi  olso be  used when  the  qction  is not  too fost
ond the picture is being token  ot  foirly close distonce. Their chief
feotures ore  greot compoctness ond low cost.
   For ony shutter speed from l/10  second to  I /loo  second, including
B, the gos-filled Closs "F"  flosh bulbs, such os GE or Westinghouse
sM  or sylvonio Wobosh sF types moy be used. These bulbs do not
furnish os much light os most of the wire-filled Closs "M"  bulbs, but
they hove greoter obility  to "stop" oction thus decreosing the chonces

   Strobo or electronic flosh units furnish instontoneous firing  for  otl
shutter speeds from  I second to  l/300  second, inctuding B.
   Follow the instructions furnished by  the monufocturer of  the flosh

  Your"W,iRD 35" hos o  built-in "double exposure"ond "blonk
 exposure" locking device. This mechqnism "locks" the Shutter Button
 ofter every exposure so thot  the shutfer connot  be  releosed  until
 the exposed  film  is wound ond o new frome  of  unexposed film   is
odvonced  into  ploce.  In  this woy,  the  some  frome  connot  be
exposed  twice  (double  exposure)  nor con the  film be  wound by
 mistqke before  it hos been exposed  (blonk exposure).  Therefore,
 if the Shutter Button connot be pressed oll the woy down   it meons
 thot  either   (l  )  the film hos not  been wound  to the next frome  or
 (2)  the Film Winding  Lever hos not been moved to  its full stop. In
either  cose, o complete turn of the  Film Winding  Lever to  its full
stop  will  octivote the Shutter Button.

        I,IAKING INTENTIONATDOUBTEEXPOSURE
    It will be possible to moke o "double exposure" picture intentionolly
by following the simple procedure outlined below:
l. Moke  your  first shot os usuol.
2. Pressin the Film Rewinding Button (P)  ot the bottom of the comero
  ond hold   it  in this position while you cock the shutter by working
  the Film Winding Lever (E).
3. Moke ybur second shot os usuol.
  Note   : Since the Exposure Counter  (J)  hos odvonced one index
   in spite of  the foct  thot  there hos been no octuol movement of
   the film,  it  will be  necessory to  either   (")   re-set the  Exposure
  Counter (J)  or  (b)  remember thot you hove one more exposure
  lhon thot indicoted by the Exposure Counter  (J).
